I'd just like to say thanks to all those on the forum and especially all those who organised todays ride out. I'm new to the forum, but had met Frank on a number of previous ocassions -various bike meets. I must sa that it was well organised and that the minutes silence was both respectful and a moving memory to the man himself. Thanks once again and I hope to see more of you all soon.

PS Hope you all got back from Bude before the hail/sleet started - I wimped out at Callington.

Realy gutted I could not make it but i did get to within 30 miles of plymouth

Sorry not able to be there . Didn't know Frank but my thoughts were with him this afternoon.

Thankyou to the brave people who turned up and to those who tried but were beaten back by the weather. I bet Frank is saying "you daft buggers".
I was glad I was there to honor such a nice gentleman.
We paid our respects at the spot which was very moving (those that ask me, said a little prayer for you).
I couldn't believe that sign in Windyridge those that saw it know what I'm on about. (sure he followed us )

Sorry about the mix up at the pub with the food and drink.

Now that was spooky. I noticed it when i got into Windyridge.

It was a moving moment at the scene, must admit I had a few tears in my eyes, as i norticed i was not the only one.

Thank you for everyone who made the run and a big thank-you to Linny & Garry & mac and Jim (for finding me in the middle of Plymouth and showing me & Chris the way).

Although me and Chris were frozen solid when we got to Plymouth, it was well worth the ride.

Again thank you all so so much.

A very emotional day, impressed by the number or riders, especialy the hardcore croud that went to bude, good effort, this is what biking is all about, getting together, to help one another in everyway. Im sure that Frank would be very impressed by everyone today. The organisation was perfect, cheers to all who aranged it. The ride back from Bude wasnt to enjoyable in the dark, but it was all worth it.

It's taken me a hot shower and 2 hot chocolates just to thaw out!!!

I'm sure Frank is up there looking down on us all laughing at the mad ones stood in the pub in bude all shivering and remembering stories about him.


Also big thanks to AT and Jim for sorting out the days events it was a great tribute to a wonderful man.

fair play to all that went, must of been freezin! good effort peeps.

Although I couldn't make the ridout today because of work.

I would have liked to have been there to show my respect to a fellow biker and SWB member.

I had my moment at work to say my goodbye.

We will all miss him I'm sure, and he will not be forgotten while we all remember him and talk about him through the club.

So I say God Bless you Blueflier where ever you are.....

Nice to hear you guys had a ride out for Frank. I would have liked to have known the guy from all i have hear dyou say about him, If i had known you were coming to bude I would have run down on the 250 to say hello.
as the 400,s are off the road at the moment. And the 250 is not in the kinda health that i would trust it to ride to plymouth.

would have liked to have gone but the dukes having a januarys trip and clean down.

its days and meets like this which show how special and respected other club members and motorcyclists are, you dont get it any other hobby/passion.
