Very sad. Typical knee-jerk reaction.

They are obviously not concerned with the facts that he was a local on a daily commute route ............ one can understand the concerns of the council, but not their inconsiderate use of such a sad event, so soon :?

Typical press, trying to put a sensationalist spin on this tragic event.

A mans life has been lost, yet they fail to realise a few important things:

1. Frank didn't discover this road on any stupid website, it was his daily commute.

2. The actual cause of the accident has still to be established. The press have automatically blamed speed/fast riding (which makes their story sell more), rather than wait for the outcome of the investigation.

Their complete insensitive attitude toward the recent event and their complete lack of truth in their story makes me very very annoyed and angry.

That makes me sick, with no background on the causes they assume such circumstances. We shouldd push for a published apology on that.

Cheggers, spot on.
Plus that newspaper is full of sh*t anyway.

Arrh, winds me up a treat, no one even seen how frank rode, and no one can accept that accidents happen, someone ALWAYS have to place the blame on someone who cant defend themselfs.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, p*sses me right off, happened to my mates that actually died up the road, just by windy ridge. :(

i've just read the one in western morning news, i dont think they should be able to get away with printing stuff like that. its just sheer sensationalism...i've just written a letter to the editor anyway, maybe others might want to as well..

  this is typical tabloid "anti bike " material . would they be so quick to condemn a car driver??? i expect that you all already know that answer.
i feel sad and appaulled at just how the tabloids can slander someone, with complete disregard for the feeling of the family and friends , without having all the FACTS
i am sure you are all with me on this !!!

Afraid they are a typical tabloid press in that they have to embelish any stories they receive to sell their tatty topless ladeez type paper. They are 'The Sun' for Sunday and I never give it the time of day.

As others have already mentioned. Not one mention of the fact that Frank used the road to 'commute' to work.

The paper is pathetic.
