Radweld & damaged radiator
Does anyone have any experiance of using this stuff???
After my wife trying to kill my bike, I have pretty much fixed everything, but the radiator has a leak. I have tried using Radweld on it today, but I am not sure if it hardens in the rad straight aw ay or whether it happens once the engine cools down.
If Radweld hasn't fixed the leak then the only options left are to try and sourc3e a send hand rad, which given the rarity of my bike and I am not overly hopeful about, or finding someone who can weld repair the hole or something. Does anybody know o some one who can do this sort of thing???

I was told Radweld isnt a good solution for a bike as the waterways aint as big as a car so can clog up quite easily.
Fill in http://bike-breakers.info/Home.htm see if anyone has one.
Get it repaired if you cant find a 2nd hand one.

I found that out about Rad weld, but only after I had used it. I will just have to hope nothing has clogged.
Anyway, Radweld doesn't seem to have worked, as once bike gets to a certain termerature, water starts pissing out at vairous places, some behind the rad. Thing is, I can't understand how rad has been damaged so badly. The bike was hit side on, so I can understand some potential damage to corner, but rad seems to have multiple punctres, some of which seem to be near middle of rad.
Any way, have put out some feelers for a seconf hand rad. Just incase, soed anyone know who can do rad repairs???
Cheers

The rad must have got twisted as it landed so causing brakes in different places.
If it is leaking bad then it might be cheaper to get a fresh one !

Rad weld is good stuff.
Went out with a few mates last year, one got a stone in the radiator of his CBR. Big leak, pulled over at a petrol station. Filled it up with a can of rad weld and coolant, hey presto no leak. Has been fine ever since.
