right as i told people yesterday in the say elloo forum. i am building (well trying to !!) a 1995 import tzrr bike. as some of u may know these bikes arnt exactley easy to get bits for right !!. well today i put a request in partfinder for some rear seat panels and usd forks. i had about 4 calls in total and none of them had panels at all as well as this ive been ringing varios breakers yard,s trying to source these plastics and could i find anything could i hell. so im putting out a plea for help. is there anyone on the site that can weld alloy or alu as ive decide sod it if i cant win this way ill go one better and chop the subframe of and mount something better on.

now before anyway goes steady on there ive been debating this for a while and my idea is maybe a r6 rear end which in my opnion would look preety sweet . oh i got some forks sorted for 100 squid and there be here in a about 2-3 days. but do you know what the really annoying thing was as soon as i put the phone down to the bloke i bought the forks another one tell me he could do a set for 70 dammmn oh well thats life. looking forward to feedback

whats the width of the rear section of the frame on the tzr? you may find the front of the r6 subframe needs bringing in quite a bit before it will line up with the rear rails on your frame, which might in turn create problems for mounting the plastics etc.

i'd think you would be looking at a few quid for a complete r6 subframe, seats and plastics and stuff, but its the neater way to do it though. Otherwise you could get an r6 race seat and make up brackets to fit this onto your existing subframe?
