'Let down'

Post by ticketyboo2002 »

Just home after having to leave CBT as my foot is still not strong enough to change up gears. Am so, so, gutted I can't put it into words how down I feel. He evn offered to bring my Dragstar to the CBT centre so as I could do it on that as my gear pedal is slightly bigger than the one on their bike. But, at the end of the day if I'm not strong e nough to do it then I can't blame their bike can I.

My cunsultant did say fair at 3 months, good at 6 months. Maybe I'm just expecting too much too soon. Sorry, rambling on, but I just wanted to share it with someone.

That's a shame as you were so looking forward to it, but you must be able to feel safe on the bike and if your ankle is not 100% it's not worth taking the risk, take your time and do the CBT when your ankle is stronger 8) :)

Sorry to hear. As you mention, give yourself a bit more time and the CBT will be yours :D
