What a day, thanks toSpeedy for organising it, and letting me loose on his pride and joy.
And I would like to thank my personal skill for not wiping out both of us when I locked the front wheel coming into the bus stop mid-outbraking-maneuvre.
Pics to come very shortly.
Gaz
P.S I'm sunburnt.

i appoligise now for incorrent spelling.
had a fantastic 2 days. was awsome. same and cat will tell u i wasnt looking foward to it though my bike would die and be ragged shitless. (it was anyway) lol and also was worried about the rain and such. anyway anxious drive up there. never meet any of u guys before. got there, put some names to faces said hello, so far so good. went into town got an idian and some beers, andrew and his bro was there. had a chat then joined the group. all good buch of guys and girls and could see this would pan out to be a decent track day. went to sleep not seeing to many peeps and thinking they have mostly pulled out becuase of the weather. adnyway turned up at the gates, gagging to get on the bike and have a go. turn up and there are loads of people then i expected. some obviously serious riders with tyre warmers or what not. anyway after a bit of gettign reading prepping and what not we all the breif, again puting more names to faces. wen the brief came i was dredding it somewaht and wasnt sure what to expect. anyway, get called, get out there, nice and steady and then bike broke

popped like a mother f**ker though

scared a few people i thinkn. anyway, fixed it and back out, and loved every moment. bike handled it pretty well but could have done wiht that 525 for a bit of extra top end. but all the guys were good, no problems, brilliant day. best weather, ideal. and brilliant track and track staff. was brilliant. didnt want to leave. on the last session managed to turn it up a notch and have a reall ragg of the drz, an was fantastic.
thanks to everyone new and old for making it enjoyable nd fun and just a complete learning curve.
top marks speedy mate. and every one. i really enjoyed myself.

Where to start

Fab pics, Great job
Don't think we will be aload back to that campsite again.
Weather awesome. Sunburnt to hell face and neck
Put loads new names to faces and all great.
Leroy did a great job on track even though he was a pain in the a*re to spend 2 days with.

Only joking mate it was good to have some company up there and back. Deffo up for it again.
Age was flyin as always. Had a couple close ones and ended up on the grass out braking someone going into bus stop at one point. A big cheer from everyone. I know its not nice but i think everyone would like to see him bin it, just once
No hard feelins AGE mate, we love you really
Speedy as always you did a grand job and thankyou again for the weather. Great planning.
Scotty, well points for best wheelie of the day apparently

Bikes fecked
Woke up this morning got a text from Dave. He went to A&E last night but he has no broken bones. Gutted for him.
My spill was caused as you can see from this pic. "Can" kept grinding out on the deck and i just pushed too far at the bottom right hander after the chicane. Hooked underneath and took the wheels off the deck.
Told the wall he could have the bike and kept me lid off the deck. Scarry when you see the wall approaching very quickly when sliding on your back. Gutted about leathers. Will have to speak to Geryy nicely. Aching this morning and a bruished leg.
Back protectors are awesome.
Got bike goin after straightening clip on and replacing rearset but forks still bet
Oh and best highlight of day was mately on a ZX10R giving us the thumb on way home and wheeling down between traffic along the M4 for a very long time

followed by his nutter mate doing got knows what speed zig zaging between
Don't think i missed anything.
BIG BIG THANKYOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED GET MY BIKE BACK TOGETHER, GAV FOR LENDING ME HIS ON BOARD CAMERA, AND TO EVERYONE FOR MAKING IT A FAB DAY

just echoing everyone else really but what a great day! Big thanks to Speedy for sorting it all out - sorry for your shower of super-unleaded on the second session

, and to Andy who also went out in the yellow bib with us novices. The RD performed admirably - not even missing a beat when Andy and I took it out back to back in novice then inters. Don't think I've ever cranked a bike quite so far over in my life either - those skinny little bt45's are scrubbed right to the edge
hope everyone who had a spill is not aching too much today, and baskie - you definitely pulled out all the stops in that last session, I just couldnt get the RD past you no matter how much I tried.
