pub meets happen where people want them to. if u want one in your neck of the woods, easiest thing to do is organise one

The other thing is with evenings getting lighter, and theoretically weather getting better, people are more likely to travel further of an evening.

Trouble is, those of us with families find evenings tricky - Mon/weds& every other Tues = taxi-ing eldest son to Tae-Kwon-Do, Tues = kid-watching as wife at evening class, Thurs = taxi again, youngest swimming/eldest guitar.
