Can anyone recommend...

... a rear brake light for my crap tail tidy??

Tail tidy is pictured below. Has a small space for a rear plate light or I could move the plate down a bit maybe....

Am not prepared to buy a whole new tail tidy just cos it has a light on it. Can anyone recommend a small light that my OH could fit to get it through its MOT?

Would the LED light on this site work and maybe just not use the bracket it comes with? http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgur ... l%26sa%3DN

Any other ideas most appreciated.

Oops I meant rear plate light (white light) not brake light. Sorry.

Why can't you edit posts on this thing!?

I've got a Bike It one on mine but R&G do one aswell. Google them and you should find them.

I don't want a new tail tidy - can;t justify spending another £50 just for a little light. As you can see I already have a tail tidy but I just need a light for the number plate which needs adding.

Will find one and add it. Thanks for the recommendations.

He's not saying you should, he's just saying he got one with the tidy. You can buy them seperaly.

Bike it, the one I've got.

Can't find the R&G one on their website but you can get them seperatly, cos we've sold them.

Just fit a little LED above your plate. Did that on my old SV and it was fine. Cost a fiver and 10 minutes of drilling and fitting. It'll just wire straight into your existing 12v loom in place of the old light.

Dont need a numberplate light for an MOT ;)

You sure Tom?

I thought that if the vehicle was originally fitted with a plate light then it must be present. I hope you're right. It'll save me fitting one to my new undertray. :-)

Don't think you need one for MOT but plod might not like it if you haven't got one.
