ipod help please

im looking to buy a ipod,want one with a big memory as im aiming to get well over 100albums onto it. need it to be compatible with the ipod connectors in modern cars as i'll be doing over 60kmiles next year so not sure if that rules out the ipod touch.what devices do you have or with your knowledge recommend

I wouldn't recomment the ipod touch, as the memory on them are not very big.

I would go for the 160GB classic, come down alot in price now, I have one and the battery lasts for ever unlike my old iPod mini.

think i'll go for the 80gb option unless told othrwise, dont think i've got 20,000 tunes to listen too, close but not that close LOL

Well you can also use it to store videos / TV programs. I have the whole series of Race to Dakar, Heroes Season One and about 7,000 songs on mine. Plenty of room left as well :wink:

Come to think of it, all of the above still takes up less that 80gb :lol:

stick with the 100 albums, be easier than fiddling about wth a little ipod, also cd's dont run out of battery, unless your doing the 60kmiles in one go i wouldnt worry about it since youll

bought the 8gb nano, spent hours uploading ny cd's to it but well worth it,sat on the train to yeovil listening to songs i hadnt heard for years and wouldnt have even dreamed of putting in the car. best bit of musical kit ive bought ever,dont know how i lived without one LOL
