yay just had an E-mail form Virgin saying they are upgrading my 4mb connection to 10mb free of charge, no date yet but a freebie is allways good

Should have the upgrade now

Just done a speed test from here http://www.speedtest.net/ and still on my 4meg connection

Reboot the cable modem and try again. If it still doesnt work chances are your area isnt done yet. You can see what you're running through the cable modem, it chances from modem to modem but my Webstar modem is @ http://192.168.100.1/ then Status, look for the configuration file, first number is the download and second is the upload.

Have done that allready and still 4 meg at the moment but no rush, 4meg is fast enough for me, all i do is surf and online gaming

Not too worried at the moment it did say in the E-mail they were going area by area and ours was down the list a bit so will give it a bit longer before kicking off.

i'm only on 3meg but it does me fine
