Bike Night on the A37 Dorchester - Yeovil Rd
We are putting on a Bike night at Southern Counties Leisure on the A37 between Yeovil and Dorchester, those of you who know the area will probably know it better for the world class clay shooting range and motorsport approved clay pigeon kart circuit; the post code is DT2 9PW.
The first night is Wednesday 30th April and then every Wednesday across the summer, to kick things off we have arranged a couple of events.
The twin engine pro karts will be available for arrive and drive on the ½ mile outdoor track!
Charlie from Moto Sport of Wareham, the Aprilia main dealer is going to give away some Aprilia goodies as a prize for the quickest time for getting the ducks out of the pond (not real ducks!) using 2 specially converted diggers.
Mat from Shiny Helmet will be there to give you ideas about custom paint jobs on helmets and bikes.
South West Ambulance Service is going to be with us to let you have details about their “first bike on the scene” first aid course.
We have hot and cold food available, teas and coffees; for non riders the bar will be open. There is loads of parking
If you are a, or know of a, club that would like to put a stand up let me know on 07825 925551
Look forward to seeing you on the 30th April, if you want more info please call me on 07825 925551
Cheers

This is the old CountryClub "i'm pilled out of my gourd, naked in a field, & its 5degrees below" haunt isn't it?
I read this thread before & the gears in my head have only just clicked into place
,I can't make it this week but may be around for the next.

Didn't go. Left work early in a bit of a hurry as my 9 year old went missing & his bike was still at home.
Got home and found him going to my ex's house on his scooter and not his bike cos he left his bike helmet in the house and "dad says that he not allowed to ride his bike without it" so its all my fault them
Kids
Maybe next time.

Re: Bike Night on the A37 Dorchester - Yeovil Rd
Even though the weather was absolutely cr*p last night
we still had a respectable turn out for the first night. A big thanks to everyone who turned up, bikes ranged from a 1979 V plate Honda Cx 500 up to a 08 plate Hyabusa. We only had a few bikes through the evening, about 35 across the night, but it was bloody cold and if you had seen the horizontal rain in the afternoon we would have probably had no one turn up! Some great characters turned up though and 10 out of 10 to the guy who rode his Kawasaki KH 125 from Christchurch, be good to see you again on a warmer day
Hope to see you all and some more next Wednesday from about 6:00 pm onwards.
Once again thanks to everyone for their support.
