Petrol up AGAIN

Just been past our local Tesco petrol station and seen it's gone up AGAIN to 108.9p. When will it stop. There's no way the price of fuel to the companies has gone up by 10p since November.
What really anoys me is that I heard Gordon Brown saying that Britain was going to by Darfur a load of mosquito nets, I think it was 20,000 at $10 each

Don't get me wrong, i'm all for charity but there are two things.

1) Charity should always start at home, we still have homeless in this country.

2) If I want to give to charity it's up to me which one I give it to. Why should Gordon Brown take my tax money that I pay for the running of THIS country and give it to countries abroard. Yes povity is terrible and all that but that's not the point. He's giving all this money abroard yet we have to donate to the Air Ambulance to keep it flying
I understand that the price of oil may be going up but why should the government proffit from that. I think the tax on fuel should not be worked out per pound but should be a fixed rate per litre. They say it's for the environment...rubbish. They say it's to reduce congestion...to make life easier for the rich. But what about the poor buggers who live in the counrtyside and have to travel miles to get to work?
Problem is that people don't complain enough in this counrty, we all just sit back and put up. However what happens when all us counrty folk end up on th doll cos we can't afford to get to work?
Your thoughts...

Doesnt particulary bother me, but then i only use about 20 quids of fuel a week.
But one thing I dont get is why do they always have like 110 and then a lil bit more so 110.7.
If i had a car then i would care more as it would soon add up.

afraid so mate,it was a independent garage who told me so doesnt have the buying power of a tesco or shell. they are making 2p litre on it which makes it not worth keeping as the garage.

This is why I'm gonna get a 250 scooter (still looking if anyone knows of any). They do around 75/gallon, twice as much as the car. Thing is though I shouldn't have to

Roughly £12 to fill the hornet, trouble is complaints get weaseled out of.
& as for voting with our feet we're stuffed, theres seems to be no way of boycotting to force a lowering of prices as we all need fuel. Whatever the protests were last time, they weren't enough or were pointless; look where we are now!
We're hit left right & centre to run a vehicle, outsiders must look upon this country as a joke. & Foreign truckers don't buy our fuel, which must have an impact considering they're using/pounding our roads.

petrol prices have got bad, im not denying that.
Darfur has been in civil war since 2003 and has massive problems with disease and drought 400,000 dead, half from disease, half from war. Mosquito nets could save a huge amount of lives considering that malaria is one of the biggest killers, that and not having any clean water.
but hey at least they have cheap petrol...right?

Well if it puts things into perspective, last week i drove 765 miles and used over £540 in diesel averaging 6 miles to the gallon so putting a tenner in to do 100 miles is still a bargain to me..............
