Just arrived home from first Paignton bike night...

Post by Mike Hayward »

Couldn't decide wether to go out on the bike tonight or not but so glad i did!

Just arrived home from going up to my first Paignton bike night, the ride up was somewhat lonely on my own but a chance for me to try and get used to the bike being as i've only been riding now for about a month or so.

Arrived in Paignton an was quite shocked how many bikes there! took a wander had a tes then set off home, all quite mundane coming out of town when out of nowhere at kings ash hill crossing about ten bikes flew past, i tagged along with the back group cos there was no way i'd be keeping up with the faster group who performed some really impressive stand up wheelies

We passed a small group as we left avonwick who decided to take off after us, needless to say the fast ones left me for dead but someone on a 125 yamaha i think caught up as we were following a couple slow cars and overtook us all on the wrong side of the road even round some corners no way he coud've seen round! it was like slow motion watching him pass!

Anyway I stuck with the group all thew way back to plymouth and if anyone on here happens to read this and was there i'd like to say a big cheers!

That was an awesome ride home and my first time to ride amongst a group of riders really enjoyed it!

Nice, glad you had a good time. I'm missing the bike nights up here in silly kunt!

The random group rides are always best.

I went up tonight as well. Didn't see any green zxr 750s though. I was parked next to my sisters boyfriends cruiser, on a centre stand :? Didn't look right at all.
Bike of the night was a bright yellow chop.

Thats so unfair, I've never seen anyone do wheelies on the road apart from my mates a few years ago (sold their bikes now)
Even my Dad has had bikers overtake him on the rear wheel

Although I did chase an Aprillia Mille but lost him when he was elbow down round a corner!
I has a wee semi
