It was good seeing such a turnout on such a crappy day, especially some of the guys on the smaller bikes, it was good fun and excellent going through Taunton as pretty much one big group, sounded lovely at every set of lights and cars were moving out the way all the time :D . I had a close one on the way home from Exeter though, travelling back with bambam, he had just turned off and i was getting a bit cold so pushing on a bit like you do, when just outside Newton i decided to slow up a bit and tuck in behind an Escort for some reason and checked the mirrors to see a car in the outside lane closing on us, not a police car though so no worries as we were going a bit over 70, but the car went past us doing 90 plus and behind it was a patrol car who followed it at that speed to the pen inn then pulled him, so Thanks Mr Audi driver as it would have been a bollicking at least :D :D

Good turn out! I have asked Dave to change the name to South West Winter Bikers. SWWB for short.

I blame Bambam for the problems, infact for every problem, ever since the dawn of mankind. Cnut.

One thing I have learnt today... some nice roads have stupidly low speed limits! but I got good fuel consumption, 125miles to 14.5 litres of fuel, thats pretty good for a guzzling twin!

What a great ride out with such a friendly bunch of like minded souls!

Thanks to Kim for introducing me (from a distance) to everyone but I'm afarid that you will need to do that again as I can't remember eveyone's name (must be my age).

It was good to se so many out (it was my first one) as I only expected a few and what a good route.

Thanks to all and see you at the Xmas bash!
