Hi from Swindon/Taunton

Post by mikesouthby »

Hi all,

Am a member of some other local and r6 specific forums so thought I'd jump on here as well, always good to try and get to know more people to share knowledge and enjoy rideouts! I'm living in Swindon at the moment although most weekends and at various times throughout the week I can be found going back to my roots in Taunton. I have numerous friends down that way (Taunton, Ilminster, Yeovil) who ride so am often down that way on the bike. Hope to get to know some of you better and maybe join up for some rides? Speak soon!

A few pictures of me and the bike so you can give me the nod if you see me going past ;)

Thanks Colin, does seem to be a lot of posts; going to be confusing keeping up with this one me thinks, still, good to have a variety of people on different machines spread around...

Thanks Smiler, she looks a little different now although not too much, just added a load of carbon parts, discreet but really nice... nearly bought a GSX-R but glad I went for the r6 now, great machine, very focused!

Oh, much prefer the styling of the R6...and particularly black, just seems to look 'right'...

Nothing wrong with a little discreet carbon here and there..

Always up for a ride-out mate, have been struggling to find people to ride with so generally go out on my own, I ride most days if I can and certainly every weekend at the moment! Went cross country Swindon-Wootton-Lynham-Chipeenham-Warminster'ish and back yesterday and off into South Wales shortly with a mate who is riding up from Taunton.

I've just gotta ride otherwise I go mad ;)
