Just to say that i have had a couple people text me today saying they have seen alot of police about. I've seen a couple on the Newton/Torquay Road and one sat on Penn Inn. So if you're out today, be aware.

Plenty out on the way down to Looe and Torpoint. Camera van too just after the bend before the Looe turn.

Yesterday the coppers were out and about, must have been filming for Road Wars or something. Spent alot of time at the Kennford Garage and along the A38/A380 and M5 so be wary! I must say that had a chat with them after they started to take the mick out of me only riding a 400 when one of them rode a 650, so I told him I didn't have any ego to wrestle with! After about five minutes of light banter about wheeling.. he then proceeded to check my tyres - cheeky git!

And the point of this thread is ????????????
Surely if your bike is Mot'd roadworthy, taxed and insured, and you're riding sensibly, then you've nothing to worry about.

Just a reminder to folks to keep their eyes peeled
I heard something on the radio that D&C Police are resuming "Operation Vortex" for another month so plenty of prescence can be expected for a while

Ha ha. i knew you'd post something like that. tell me why does some one so obviously as narcisisstic as you spend all there time arguing with others on matters that are clearly opinion and not fact? Call it a hunch but it seems to me that in your younger days you never felt you were mummies favourite and no matter how much attention she gave you, it was never enough so you sought attention anyway you could, not caring whether it was good or bad. tell me did you cut yourself as an adolescent hoping mummy would see? How is your obviously better achieving sibling anyway? Or please tell me you're an only child so i can have a field day.

Back on topic ..... coming home today down the M5, I saw two marked cars, a silver Skoda, a silver BMW estate and a dark blue Volvo estate, all with "customers" pulled over on the hard-shoulder, between J26 and J29. On top of that I saw at least three marked cars working the North-bound carriageway

didn't it used to be that if you stopped a traveller whilst using the road, scared them and demanded money it was called highway robbery ???

I also saw them on Friday up near yours Moosey still filming that Road Wars program
I personally think its a good thing that we are hopefully going back to old ways having a better police presence on the roads.
I know it doesn't help those who like to use the power of thier bikes to thier full potential on the public highway but at least it is also getting rid of the those who can't bleedin drive and stop them killing us
