ahh well they showed a lap of the stig in the Suzuki Liana and he was off at every bend, stalling and got lost haha, The jeremy said "on that bombshell is shumacher actually the stig" etc etc. So left it wide open tbh

All sprang from when hammond had his big crash and he was there in the atendee list or something, and the stig was too..

Didn't they also say that shuey was the only one ferrari would let drive the car

Do you really, really, think the BBC could have employed Shuey and keep it secret (let alone afford him)

I'd imagine its a ex btcc racer although his times are quicker than all the old f1 drivers who do a lap on the car

Michael was the stig for that day because the FXX ferrari he drove is actually his! The normal stig is believed to be Ben Collins. The bbc could never afford Michael, he was there just to promote Bacardi!

He drove that Ferrari well though didn't he ??

Been a Schuey fan for years, but Schuey as the stig ummmmm i don't think so

The mans far tooo busy to be filming some poxy BBC programe and running around in a reasonable priced car

I have to agree. There is no way the even the bbc are going to be able to justify his wages and there is also the over ego'ed twat could keep hidden from the camera for 2 programs let alone multiple series

I was surprised to see Schuey aswell to be honest - drive Ferrari's for a living or drive a crap car around a track to beat British celebrities times? I'm not convinced.

I've thought for a while now that the Stig is Johnny Herbert. I'm sure I remember reading an article somewhere about him being approached or something. We're still none the wiser anyway, just a publicity stunt I reckon. Good marketing though..........

Schumacher is under contract to Ferrari and the FIAT Group, legally he is not allowed to drive any car thats not built by them!
Hence to official timed lap in the Liana, also, he wouldnt have been as fast as Hamilton haha
