hi guys, i got back from a snowboardin holiday and have hundreds of videos and pics that i wanna make a vid out of. i dont wanna use windows movie maker, want something a little more interesting than that and FREE what would you guys suddgest that doesnt need a degree to work out how to use etc

Sony Vegas is good, quite powerful though (Some Hollywood films have been edited in Sony Vegas!) so not that easy to use, I'm ok at the basics now but haven't touched anything advanced yet.

Theres nothing wrong with Windows Movie Maker for the basic editing, putting multiple clips and pics together, using simple transitions with maybe some music.

It can be very time consuming too, especially if you want everything to flow and look pretty. There are no real decent free ones except Windows Movie Maker, all others you have to 'pay for'

ah no! ok, i'll havva go at getting this Sony one then! i've been using Windows for the other videos i've made but its real basic. not alot of choice for speeding things up/slowing down or many effects etc but might have to result to that if i suck at the proper programmes! Thanks for your help gav, will send you a link or something when it's done
