As i see it you have 3 options:
Buy winter gloves
Otherwise the hot hand grips are well liked (see thread in this section)
Take it like a man

Buy some winter gloves, fluffy oversized mitt things will be a pain to use and get to levers etc.
Been there , done it...... bought the winter gloves

What about slipping your hand into a nice, warm muff......
Ok, sounds dirty, but have a look at this...

May not look to good on a sports bike but its easy to remove for summer riding

after many years of freezing my digits off i came around to this set up, winter gloves I use Hein Gericke gore tex ones, they are about £45, oxford hot grips, and as we know there is no such thing as waterproof gloves as riding in rain for any more than ten minutes and the damn stuff gets in or under and will get to the end of your fingers faster than a pikey to the benefits office. Now the cure, plain rubber gloves, the ones your doctor uses to put his finger up your bum, these have an amazing insulating effect and they keep your hands dry, it was for me the most important discovery since pile cream and I can ride a winter epic now (well an hour).....

I was going to suggest the rubber glove thing but thought I'd be laughed at!
There was this one time ...(at band camp... no wait) M5, a truly biblical storm and I sheltered under a bridge for 5 mins along with another biker (way too dangerous, you couldnt see f**k all) and he had on those gloves that mechanics use, over his summer gloves! He really rated this arrangement, did loads of commuting all year round.
