question about leather storage

Hi All
The missus is now 14weeks pregnant and I'm making a start sorting out the spare room, at present my bike gear (leather suit, textiles etc) hang on the back of the soon to be nursery door. I figure i wouldn't want to wake up in the night and see a black man like figure so i think its safe to say the baby wont either.
So they have to go somewhere else and space is a premium in our small 2 bed house, I do have the garage but up to now i always insisted they live in doors away from the damp, cold and bugs etc.
Can anyone suggest a good way of storing leathers? I'm aware i cant just wrap them up as they need to breathe - try explaining that to a pregnant woman lol!
thanks in advance
Mike

I would probably give it a clean with leather feed then hang it up in a vacuum pack.

Vacuum pack is a good call, ask LWRGERRY about leather storage.
Other option would be to get a white/light suit bag. That way you can still hang them up without the fear of menacing shadows in the nursery.

The leather seems to be more prone than other fabrics for mould spores forming.
Had the bottom of one leg go years ago when it was down the outside of a wardrobe against an outside wall in the back bedroom. Poor air flow and cold bridging probably the cause.
A friend’s were destroyed when he got an old pair out of the loft after a couple of years (old damp cottage type building).
Also for work, been to a number of properties with damp/cold problems and it is always leather shoes, coats and bags that are affected first.
If you do have a problem, these have been recommended to me or just to freshen up a set.

vasectomy

Cheaper in the long run and no leathers issues.

My wife no longer able to ride pillion due to arthritus, been about 8trs since she wore leathers.
I stored them in the attic, and occasionally wiped them over with leather treatment. No mould ,no damp, no anything un-toward,
and out of the way..sold them a few months ago, they looked good as new, new owner delighted.
