Posted: Jun 28th, '12, 11:13
Sorry for the late posting but i had log in probs in conjunction with my site and another forum
Every year we run our Coast 2 Coast in south east Cornwall this year its next Sunday we will be down on numbers as there have been a few laid up etc but it should still be a fun day. this year one of the stops is to be the Screech Owl sanctuary near Newquay as they are having a bikes event there in the afternoon, free entry to those on a bike and with a helmet, both rider and pillion are free i have spoken to the owner and all are welcome.
The coast to Coast rideout is July 1st weather permitting.
Here is the route map. http://goo.gl/maps/EcnA
Starting point will be Saltash Waitrose at 10.30am
It will once again take in roads familiar to some of you and really interesting sections that seem to suit all riders, there is something for everyone, from the Torpoint Twisties to a wonderful cliff side cafe with sea views on to Looe for a break and then to a ferry crossing over the river Fowey
(I think the cost is around £1.50) and on to the Screech owel sanctury then a busy Padstow,We will stop here for a break depending on time and then head towards home via Davidstow and on to
Louis tearooms at Callington where anyone from Exeter area can head home home via Tavistock or can ride with us to Saltash and on over the bridge.
all are welcome so far the forecast is good but if ite to be a wet day then i will move the date back and will post here Saturday
