IoM TT 2014
Anyone fancy a trip to the TT next year?
I've never been, and if I'm going to get there next year then now is the time to start planning I reckon.

Yes, without a doubt. I was supposed to be there at the end of this week but got let down by someone.
Ferry with a bike needs to be booked fairly sharpish from what I can see.

Re: IoM TT 2014
Well I have phoned this morning as tickets went on sale for at 9:30
Doing their package deals there are a few options me being a girl and camping for 4 nights doesn't really work for me so looking at the hotel packages but the packages are all the same really min four nights from 30th May or 3rd June racing are as
Sat Super bikes / sidecar
Mon super sport / super stock
Wed super sport / sidecar / TT0
Fri senior super sport / light ?
Staying 3rd June
Wed race
Fri race
I would say staying for 30th may looks better but I not sure, will speak to hubby and find out which one and will be paying deposit later today

Re: IoM TT 2014
I was chatting to a bloke about this the other day. He said that some of his mates used to chuck their bikes in a van and ferry the lot over as it's cheaper, take the bikes out at night and kip in the van.
Like Kelly said, I don't think the missus would be impressed about camping or kipping in a van.
Also they do them box things you kip in, it's like a modified shipping crate.

Re: IoM TT 2014
An alternative is a lot of people rent out there homes during TT weeks, and a group of people sharing, especially if you take the bikes in a van, can make it reasonably affordable ......
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....
Handle stressful situations like a dog - If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away

It's £499 for 4 night stay in the snoozebox portable hotel inc 2 grandstand tickets, to secure its £200 deposit also booking ferry with them is £450 for a van or £350 for a car and that's for two people
