Shame that people don't pay attention to the safety briefing especially the bit that said "This is not a race and there will be NO diving up the inside, give everybody 6 feet of room on any overtake and overtake on corner exit not corner entry."

His bike - On the floor with £5k of damage
My Bike - Still upright but in the garage unable to take it out of 4th gear with something broken internally with the gear selection ..... oh and leaking oil

Had a phone call tonight and it would seem that there is hope. Bike is with Colin (who is going to Llandow to support mechanical stuff on the day) and if all goes well should have it back in time.

How did you manage to damage your gearbox (or selectors, by the sound of it)??

When the bloke did his late lunge he lost the front end and his bike slid into mine. The front wheel hit straight on to the gear selector salk and pushed it back into the gear box. We currently think that it needs a new seal, repositioning and a new gear change leaver. HOPEFULLY I have got away lightly and its going to be back up and running in a few days

Got bike back fixed so will be going to Llandow
