All
Having had a fantastic time at Llandow I am now looking to try and check out any media from he day. My rubbish attempt at using a £20 camera to record the day was basically useless.
I noticed that there seems to be lots of go pros and drifts recording the day. If you are posting any (youtube or other) would you be kind enough to post a link below.
Being totaly selfish any of the orange group would be lovely

Firstly, cracking vids. Time to bite the bullet and pay out for a go-pro the cheap alternatives really dont cut the mustard!
Would you believe it could not see myself once.
When you have a spare 5 minutes if you are able to post your rear facing vids I would most appreciate it
Got a funny feeling as I did not overtake you and you did not overtake me I might be a regular feature of your rear facing camera.

Just uploading the others now, although not edited at all so there is a bit of waiting at the beginning, it will be a few hours before they are up.

If your after a gopro type camera, I saw these the other day while shopping for parts for my quadcopter.
No idea what they are like, you would need to do some investigation but at £50 its a lot cheaper

Thanks for the heads up and the tip. Yes that is a lot cheaper. To be honest the biggest issue I have had with my cheap alternatives up until now is getting a mount that will work effectively on the bike that will record a decent position and not get massive vibration at high revs. Looking at this it looks very similar to the GoPro mounts so will do a bit more digging.
Thanks again

Looking at the results and the technical specs it does look good but I agree menzies - I'd like to know how well the mounts work.

Gav (Dynamight) and Layne both post good video's. When chatting about camera's Gav sent me this, which is what they both use:
This is what you want:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mobius-Action" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... 232c961f6a
Thats direct from the manufacturer, they are a pretty good seller too & replace any faulty bits etc. You could also buy from this place:
http://www.banggood.com/Mobius-Full-HD-" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... 90648.html it's in their UK warehouse so should arrive quicker but does cost a little more.
You'll need a MicroSD memory card, it doesnt need to be top of the range. Just class 4 or above. You'll probably want atleast 8GB, probably 16GB to cover it as the files will be quite big.
Example of quality:

Also read this site, it has loads of info on the first 8 posts:
