Brother's next-but-one neighbour (today) reversed out of his drive and knocked my bike over. Said he'd seen it as he came out of his house.
Smashed the RH hanger, foot peg, brake lever and asst. brake bits. Slight marks on silencer. Bent LH handlebar, smashed LH indicator, twisted gear lever under bike. Slight damage and scratches to fairing and decal.

Probably a cosmetic right-off.

i trust you smashed his face in with the broken part of your choice?

On the bright side, its his insurance that'll get hammered, if I were you I'd be onto my insurance company for a loan bike, and ringing dealers for test rides. Unless of course you're emotionally attached to your bike, in which case wot Billy said.

And after we sorted your alarm issue and you managed to get the indicators and brake lights sorted!!

I think that bike has a demon inside.

Many thanks D but it will be an insurance jobby. His car will be over a grand. Will see what they value mine at.

Sorry to hear the news. At least its not been done by someone whos then promptly done a runner and youll keep your no claims. Might make him more carefulin the future too.

Maybe you should think about choosing a more visible colour for your next bike

Sadly it doesn't work that way - ask my son!! A woman drove into his car whilst it was parked on the road. He was nowhere near it at the time. When it comes to renew your insurance, you still have to declare the (no fault) claim. This, in my sons case, has still resulted in increased premiums! Apparently it shows he moves/visits areas of higher risk .....

Fowlups' first available date to do a quote is June 9th.

Am therefore looking at a couple of local places to do it.

Busy morning in the rain.

Big fat controller came to inspect the bike for the insurance company, and 30 mins later my loan bike arrived.

Will await some better weather b4 trying it.

What did they loan you??
