Friday 3rd July 2015, getting off my bike, the stand folded and it fell on my leg, OUCH, ah well ride on my way home, ride it Saturday, go to Emergency Dr clinic Sunday at hospital, "Take pain killers" go to work Monday (car) Tuesday take bike, off to bike night at the pub later, walk, Christ that hurt, ride to another pub, meet some friends, ride home, this isn't right. So off to A+E, (car) have to shout for someone to bring a wheelchair, short wait see a Dr, no problem just keep it elevated whilst asleep, are you not going to do an X-Ray? No need, it's not broken, but if you want I will, YES I want an X-Ray, yep the fibula is broken, and is now plastered' good job I insisted.

Out of interest, which hospital do you use? You seem to suffer a lot of issues .........

Personally, I've always had excellent service from RD&E Wonford - prompt, efficient, and friendly. The only slight hiccup is the length of the wait in A&E sometimes.

Hope the leg heals without further complication.

Will find out for sure Monday, fracture clinic.

Dorset County Hospital, Dorchester. But the last time with all the biopsy crap was Southampton.

Went to the fracture clinic today, in and out in ten minutes, it will heal on it's own, no need for a cast. Couldn't believe it, but they are the specialists. Can put weight on it, just get on with it, but no bike. :(

Wow, your lucky. No wondering around in a cast and you can have showers etc. So not fully broken then? Did you actually see the xray?

Yep, saw the X-Ray, complete break right through the fibula.

Done 35 miles tonight on my 9R.
