4th October Ride

This was my first organised ride for some time. Knowing I am rather slower than most riders on fast road-bikes, I am apprehensive about slowing everyone down. All the riders who came out yesterday were very kind and restrained! It was a truly wonderful day. The weather was warm and sunny so we could have coffee and lunch outside.
Thanks for help with my wing-mirror. I think I have sorted it out temporarily with plumbers' tape and thread -glue.
For those who expressed wanting more information about where the bike and I have been, you are welcome to look at my website.

I have written a few articles about various incidents during my travels in Overland Magazine, The Rider's Digest and one shortly to be published in Motorcycle Sport and Leisure.
I will admit to being a 'go slow and admire the scenery' rider but I so enjoyed yesterday 's rather speedier than usual ride and would love to join you again sometime.
The book which is being written at the moment will be called
"Why Can't You Be Like Your Brother?"
Must get on, I'm writing about Papua New Guinea which is only about half-way through. Yesterday was a reminder that nothing can compare with the companionship of other bikers and that Britain is as wonderful to ride in as anywhere else if you know what to look for.
Thank you to Ellenby and John who made sure nobody got lost.
Thanks to everyone!
Jacqui
