Ok, my dear lady wife is working all day on this Sunday ( 27th ), so I'm heading to my workshop to check the tension on my cam chain. It'll take me most of the day so if anyone fancies coming over to do a bit of winter maintenance/ servicing or just general banter and spanner holding, feel free to come along. I'll be there from early on the Sunday morning so 9am onwards as a start/meet time.

You will have my tools at your disposal, including air tools, engineering bits and pieces and a mig welder! There is also a kettle, tea/ coffee, milk and sugar ;) .....

So if you're interested, stick your name down and I'll confirm the time and give you the address of my workshop.

Would like to have made it but usual Christmas visits still. Perhaps another time, I will get to meet you sometime, can't be that far from you.

Would love to, but it will take me 1½ hrs. to get there. Sky's a bit grey and dismal too.

I didn't manage to do anything to the bike as it happens, I was cutting steel to make a set of Glassing Trestles before I started on the bike, a mate called by, we decided to go to Godrevy café and spent a couple of hours drinking coffee and diagnosing his scooter running issues ;)

Best laid plans and all that......................will now have to find another free day to play with cam chain tension .

I have just spent 9 hours traveling from Norfolk to Cornwall, hope to find some dry to get out on the bike, Father Christmas got me a new helmet so need to see what its like
