Quick question guys, I'm being told different things for a daytime mot so now my brain is frazzled!!!!!
What does my bike need for a day time mot?
I.e does it have to have a horn, lights, reflector, brake light etc
I've asked 3 different mot testers and they all say different things

Just a quick cast around on Google (it's your friend), opinions vary but it seems you only need a legal registration plate, I'm far from expert but try and find online MOT guidelines/law

Number plate and a horn, but some mot testers want a reflector also,
Phone where your planing on taking it and ask them for ease.

Apparently according to the mot testing guide it doesn't even need a reflector, I normally just stick a little round one on the plate to keep them happy

I agree but at the end of the day if the tester wanted one on there and you had one in you pocket perfect, if he didn't want it then your OK,
It's a grey area at beSt and would speak to the mot tester as there are lots of "grey" areas of mots for bikes and cars.
It's how they interpret the tester's guide that matters
