A very Cornish 'Hello' from Philip from Liskeard in Cornwall. I'm an old man yet quite a new biker, having passed my test on a Honda 600 owned by a school in February 15. I've just treated myself to a Triumph Tiger 800 XRt as a retirement present to myself. I love biking - really love it - and am looking forward to joining like minded petrol heads for some rideouts, providing it's not too foggy or too icy!

Hi Philip I'm new here myself but it seems a very friendly place to hang out. That's a really nice retirement present you've bought yourself. I really like the triumph triple engines, I had a 955 Speed Triple with an aftermarket Triumph race can, the soundtrack was glorious and the not quite twin levels of low down torque with the not quite 4 cylinder levels of revs seems the ideal compromise for an everyday road riding engine. Enjoy your bike.

Greetings from Falmouth. Friendly indeed although a little light on members in Cornwall. You should be OK up that end with easy access to Devon but there are just a few down this way and I'm no good as I never seem to get much time for important things.
Fancy a ride tomorrow afternoon

? Radio forecast was ideal - snow sleet and hail! I heard all the stuff about a cold front yesterday and yet the forecast was 8 degrees and OK but then I saw yesterday that it was 4 degrees in Athens and 3 in Venice and realised maybe it could happen. Now the radio forecast seems to be shifting that way although online it is still just saying rain and fairly warm. I don't mind being stuck at home but hate the idea of being at work when it starts!
