You have to have it switched on though Phil

Phil and Rick you are both added to the Whatsapp broadcast list. I have sent you a PM with my mobile number please make sure you add it as a contact in your phone else you will not be able to receive the broadcasts.

Rob, have pm'd you a reply to your reply to my original pm, so am now awaiting a reply - by pm . . . . . . . .

Basically, the phone number you pm'd(!) me is not recognized .

Hi, if your event notification is still running could you please add me to it. My mobile is crap and not have internet ,if notification is a message thats fine if not then i just have to keep a eye on "Rideouts" Thankyou for what all you guys that run SWB do for us it really is appreciated.

There are two main whatsapp broadcasts.

One for Rideouts - Menzies sends that out
One for events - that's me.

Just make sure you have both our numbers saved in your phone and we will add you to the lists.

It is a broadcast by WhatsApp not by text message if you have WhatsApp then all good.

I've added you to the List for events, the guy who broadcasts about the Rideouts is on Holiday atm but i'll send him your details.

Are you still going to be using Whatsapp for notifications or switch to another App? Dont like their new terms and condition's!
