Hi all,

I'm a 35 year old new rider (held full license around 2 months) living in WSM. Got myself a 2006 hornet 600 in blue which I've been loving compared to the 125 I was on for 6 months prior to that. Have a real soft spot for triumphs but with my first child on the way need to be sensible with my cash at the moment.

Figured I'd drop in and say hi before life gets really crazy for a while. Probably wont be out and about at socials in the very near future but would love to meet a few fellow bikers in the local area very soon. Anyone here in the WSM area? I'll probably try to get down to one of the bike nights in the next month or so.

Glad to see you made it over from the Hornet's Nest.

Keep an eye on the ride out section, anything labelled as a "friendly" would be a gentle introduction to group rides, or if you want to ride solo for now then maybe post up when & where as there might be someone out in a similar area and you could share a laugh and a coffee at a suitable rest break.

I often run over through Exmoor, and Lymouth is favourite stop off of mine. Occasionally I ride on up to WSM but not that often tbh.
Westbay is a magnet for bikers on a Sunday afternoon and I often drop in there too.

I was actually down at westbay a few weeks back and noticed a bit of a biker buzz. Would be a nice ride out from here too so may well head on down that way when I get the chance. Will keep an eye on the ride out section and when possible I'll make sure to turn up

There's a big meet on june 8th in Wellington. It's in the morning too.

I'm in Chippenham a lot so if you fancy going for a ride up the motorway and into the Cotswolds or similar let me know.
