I think it may have been. It didn't appear to have been that well looked after but I've managed to save it. The seat hasn't caused me any issues yet, but I haven't done any serious miles with out stopping for a bit anyway. I hear they become quite unforgiving on long rides!

Yeah I've been through North Petherton a few times. Haven't seen many SV1000s about so looking forward to flying the flag

I bought it from a chap down in Plymouth. It was my second bike (after one year with a bandit 600) and on the ride home about 2 miles from home the chain snapped and shot into the clutch rod housing and caused a fair amount of damage. A couple of helicoils later and a tidy up it's on the road again ...

Thanks folks! Taken a bit of work but it's a lot of bike for the money. It does sound incredible, definitely no issue with being heard

Just joined the forum so thought I'd introduce myself! I live just outside Taunton, been riding for 2 years and currently have a SV1000. Been keen on going out on some rides and bike nights.
