Martin Jennings Memorial Run

Post by Grimalkin »

21st Annual Run will be held on Sunday 14th September.
Riders, who will assemble from 9am at Garras Wharf Car park, Truro will then set off an hour later on the memorial run which has become one of the county’s largest and most popular motocycle events.
Last year it was a record breaking entry and £4,000 was raised for the Children’s Hospice South West appeal.
This year the charity will be the front line emergency equipment trust and be spent on purchasing motorcycles for the Cornish paramedic ambulance stations around Cornwall.

Hope to see some of you. :D

Thanks again to Dave Saunby for another ‘Grand Day Out’

The grand total raised on this years run is £4,570.
£4,157.33p was taken at the start, from bikers donations/entry fees. £308 was taken at Beacon, and a bit more at the finish.

The overall turnout was roughly the same as last year with approximately 1200 bikes, so maybe we have reached a peak, which is amazing, considering Cornwall is a small county, which is stuck on the end of England.

This year charity is "Front Line Emergency Equipment Trust". The money raised will help purchase motorcycles for the "CORNISH" paramedics who work out of the ambulance stations around the county
