WSBKS today, spoiler

Post by deej »

wow what a days racing, cant beleive no-ones posted about it yet

how awesome were haga and bayliss in race 2,those passes over the start/finish line were just plain crazy but bloody good to watch. bayliss is a true champion and showed it today albeit in a rather strange way, no need to win that second race especially with fabrizio closing in on corser but he tried 110% as usual for the win and paid the price but wasnt it bloody entertaining

also what about johnny rea in wss along with eugene laverty, wasnt that a awesome race too

I sat and watched the replays this evening .. Biaggi's wobble in the first race was kinda  The second race was superb (although it had the wrong ending). So unlike the processions you get in MotoGP!! Yeah WSS was good too, loved the way they stopped and congratulated each other :D
my mind not only wanders ... sometimes it leaves completely

Bayliss should of known that racing that close with Haga is going to end in tears. Its the sort of racing we want and love to watch but its the not the result bayliss needed.

Maybe played it safe and then just blitz the last races with nothing to loose.

I guess at least it proves Bayliss is a born racer and will race no matter what the lose. Some would of settled it down and taken the points.

Which is the correct way ?? I know i bleedin enjoyed it though

Laverty was bleedin mega lucky with Pitt trying to swipe his tyres off the deck. That was awesome.

Glad the commentators on the couch Glen and co echoed my views on the single tyre rule being a good thing making it a closer competion and more entertaining and what with talks of ECU controls on the cards MAYBE

Next Sunday is going to be a cracker MotoGP, F1 and BSB YEEEEEHHHHAAAAAAAAA BABY

how can you say its a close race down to the tyres, yesterday was xerox v santander with no-one else able to stay the pace especially race 2. i feel it should be open to all tyres as motogp is proving lately when a bike works well and the riders confident it doesnt matter what tyres you run, just look at rossi n lorenzo 2 races ago, what was it 2.5secs between them and that difference was only down to rossi's brilliance

i really wish donington was dry and sunny the other week so we could see how good the bsb boys are against the wsbk boys.

You just better hope MotoGp don't go down the same path then as that is the talk at the mo.

Watch this space. Got to be some reasoning behind it all.

If i had the same rubber on as you at Donny you wouldn't of been able to push me off line and made me run wide, as i would of been able to hold a tighter line like you not took to the grass. you used, abused and took the advantage and played dirty knowing my rubber wasn't as grippy as yours

The proofs in the pudding bud

Oh and on the point when a bike is running well it doesn't matter what rubber your on. Look back to last season when no matter what Rossi did he couldn't touch Stoner and was determend to change to Bridgstone. Knowing at some tracks Bridgestone had hell of an advantage.

Now you got Pedrossa doing the same. These are 2 top class riders wanting this change and many more wanting to follow suit to.

Rossi's words last season was we have the bike but are at a disadvantage because of our tyres. Thats got to be unfair. If everyone was on the same rubber then it is getting more like the job is down to the rider.

Well once the BIG BIG BUDGET PAYING TEAMS are restricted on thier spending a tad

I can't see what people have against making everything on a more level playing field and let the riders do the work.

It will end all the excuses the riders come up with at the mo and make more entertaining watching.

Don't get me wrong i love Rossi running away with it

i think there was more behind the scenes politics last year than just tyres, i bet rossi wasnt able to slag yamaha off as the bike just wasnt good enough and the tyres werent helping

motogp is prototype racing and should be allowed to stay that way, anything goes.
nobody complained for the last 10years when dunlop ploughed on unsupported whilst michelin whipped their arse, now bridgestone have kicked michelins ass its not fair. why dont they just pull their finger out and develop better tyres that we can then eventually buy which should help numptys like you stay on the track
