They work fine on "p" and high beam , but they are`nt working on "h" which i need them to this time of year because if i pass a vehicle i have to take it off high beam and i cant see where the hell im going.
So does anyone know a reason why the "h" is not working?

Re: Lighting problems
Have you checked the bulb itself?
Re: Lighting problems
the bulb itself seems fine unless theres a different one for "h".

Re: Lighting problems
would that make one setting not work and the other work perfectly then?
Re: Lighting problems
More than likely, if the contact for the low beam is corroded or burnt then main will work but dip will not. take the block connector off the rear of the bulb and put a multi meter on it and see if you get any voltage or not, if you do then the bulb is duff if not then look at the feed from the switch and the switch itself.

Re: Lighting problems
Start with the easy things first -
Check all the block connectors from the switch gear to the loom and from the headlight to the loom
Check the fuses - some bikes have the main and dipped beams on separate circuits
Is it a single or twin headlight - some twin headlight set-ups have a relay in the system, so check the relay
