Deej,

You must have been one of the many queuing when we walked by. Saw Leon there but gues Max would be running late.

Good racing & fantastic atmosphere - from the cheap seats; were in the Grandstanfs at Luffield & the place erupted whenever a brit overtook. Even Tommy Bridewell & Jenny Tinmouth were getting big cheers each time they came by.

You probably left similar time to us, got in at 9.45 having stopped for tea, left just after the Triumph race.

Oops, got your's and Colin's posts confused. He would have been in the queue waiting for Max - never seen so many Aprillia & Alitallia cardigans & annoraks in 1 place :D

Perhaps Leon was 'instructed' to go.

Honda Star and I were there yesterday when she did a Novices trackday on the Stowe circuit with Hottrax. There was a Ron Haslam Race School taking place on the main track too (possibly only on the South Circuit, couldn't see the rest from where we were) and at lunch we went over to the cafe for a brew and saw Ron there, plus Liam and Sylvain Guintoli in their Alstare Suzuki leathers, probably doing some promotional thing. There were a bunch of French guys kitted out in the Dark Dog Suzuki team gear hanging around too.
We'd just left when we were passed by a big motorhome with the plate 67 SB being driven by Shakey Byrne, closely followed by a Vito minibus (tinted windows, natch) with the plate P1 SDB being driven by what looked like his wife - seems like quite a number of people hung around for a while after Sunday wrapped up.

I wonder how much the Stowe circuit costs to hire... not too long, but quite a bit longer than Llandow, flat, smooth, lots of decent corners, nice tarmac, garages.. possible SWB trackday venue if we could make it pay?
