Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Coffee & Cake Somerset/Dorset Bimble Sunday 10th Jan

Post by Stinker »

Hi all,

OK, gonna organise a rideout for the following route on a date in the not too distant future. It's going to need to be dry tho! ...cold is ok, but not wet. If we pick a day and it ain't sensible weather we will move it forward to the next Sunday until we get a dry day.

First preference is SUNDAY 10th JANUARY leaving Wincanton at 9am. The route will be:

Wincanton-Sherborne-Crewkerne-West Bay (Coffee & Cake Stop) - Portland Bill (more coffee & cake :D ), Weymouth-Dorchester-Sherborne-Wincanton.

This will probably be a 4 hour run. Would respectfully suggest that we limit this to 250's upwards.

Don't matter if there is one taker or 20...we will still do it :D

Regards to all and a great new year....looking forward to meeting you guys

Yep Robbo...I think 10am is about right but let's say 10-10.30 just in case.
Fab, so see you at West Bay up at the breakwater car park and/or at the Harbour Lights Fish & Chip van thingy where I guess we can get a cuppa.
So, any more up for a nice easy run?

Look forward to meeting you Smiler...we won't go unless it guarantees dry weather. If that date doesn't deliver then will go the next Sunday☺

Don't worry....we'll be behaving so taking it nice 'n easy. There'll be a few roundabouts upon which you can get yer knee down which is compulsory ofc :80:

Seriously  it's not going to a bonkers race through the countryside...rather, a steady amble and we'll make sure all riders are looked after.

More news as it happens. :D
