Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Sunday June 27th - POSTPONED

Post by ptolemyx »

See later posts - now leaving Smiley's 10.30 for a circuitous ride to Louis'

For those who will have missed the Wales weekend shenannigans the weekend before, and for the Wales weekend attendees who are gluttons for punishment:-

The Great SouthWest Bikers Coffee Shop Tour

Smiley's Honiton, depart 09.30
Bluebell Willand, quick cuppa10.00-10.25
Greedy's Torrington, pose with the other bikers 1140-12.00
Boscastle Farm Shop, cake stop 13.15-13.45
Louis' Callington, cuppa and more cake and undoubtedly a pee 14.30-15.00
Bridge Motorcycles, finish and disperse homewards 16.30
(times after leaving Honiton are obviously approximate and the route below is also approximate cos I invariably take a detour somewhere...)

It seems we have lots of rides on for the 27th. Would have joined but have already committed to head to Cornwall and join Jay's ride instead.

A good mate would lend me his Bandit for the day, in return he could have my Triumph - if he finishes the rebuild :)): .

I'm local to Smiley's Cafe, so if not working I may pop around for some taking of the wee wee. If not, have a good day - and Brian, try to keep the Busa between the hedgerows and away from innocent white work vans :D .

Sorry Phil n' Wendy and Claire, and anyone else who might have come along. I've done my back (again) - silly old fart did too much yesterday building a wall in the garden and cannot move this morning - very unlikely to be at all comfortable for a few hours bike time Sunday. I'll post another date soon.

Sorry to hear about the back that’s not good news. Also weather was not looking great for Sunday so perhaps a different more sunny day might draw a slightly larger crowd.
