S'pose it is fun either waiting for recovery when the bike fails or spending time at the dealership when the bike fails again

This is very brave coming from a Suzuki owner. Must of found a thick hedge to hide your bus in. Or was it a bright white van again?

I will pass judgment on KTMs only been a year with them we will see.
Must admit liking the lightness.
10 years with a GS and only starter motor not bad.
Cold out there today.

I think the whole unreliability thing covers most new complex bikes KTMs, BMW, Triumph etc. So much electronics across all of them with forums full of failing bikes of all manufacture. KTM treat their customers and dealers poorly BMW better. None of that helps when you are stood by the roadside.

In the main got to say that most bike actually do really well considering the screaming engines and the way we ride them. Personally my only complaint about KTM's is that when i wanted to test ride one there was not a single one in the country i could have a go on. Hence bought a BMW and been loving it ever since. I would not worry too much about the oil use Johnathan being a twin they can use a little more oil then the 4 pots
