Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Home okay after my right front caliper problem. Soon got used to only using the back brake, surprising how efficient stopping is with just the back. Front was working after it cooled down but I wanted to prove a point. Dazzer must follow me on the next ride to see rear only braking 😜

Upping the hazard anticipation and riding accordingly minimised the risk. You can actually stop quite quickly with just the rear brake. I did have the back up of the front brake working again if I needed it. I assume 750+ miles riding in rain last week must have got enough crud in by the pistons of that caliper to cause it to drag and end up binding and overheating. I am a naughty boy for not having the calipers off for a good going over when I cleaned the bike. Will do a full rebuild and change the brake fluid now.

To brake is to admit defeat anyway :))
Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..
