Castle Combe 8th June 2026
So I've now booked Monday 8th June at Castle Combe. It's not through the CC website it's via https://www.mpsmotorsport.co.uk/
It's £212 which is more than the CC days, but thought i'd give it a try and see the difference. As Combe is only just up the road for me it's still less than it would cost me to go elsewhere and more convenient.
I booked the slow group because not been there since before lockdown and not on either of my current bikes.
Now I have to decide whether to take the 1000sx or 690smcr....corners or top speed....
Cheers Then.

I'm doing it as well!
The test of the machine is the satisfaction it gives you. There isn't any other test. If the machine produces tranquillity it's right. If it disturbs you it's wrong until either the machine or your mind is changed.

Well done nice one.

I'm coming along too. Rude not to considering I live 10 mins away.

Me and mikeZ are in Hanham & Kingswood where are you? We could do a ride out sometime.

So there’s 12 of us already booked on this one. Might have a southwest bikers group there only!

Hi Guys, how did you get on yesterday? I appreciate it may have been wet, for at least some of the day, which does spoil it a bit. I'm interested to know from peeps that have done both CC and MPS days, what the differences are and if it is worth paying the extra for the MPS day?
I'm not really grumpy, just misunderstood

Re: Castle Combe 8th June 2026
It was good, stopped raining about 11am and dried pretty quick. The whole day was relaxed. Regarding price etc take your pick (rough prices). Obviously less groups = less people/crowding.
MPS 4 groups £200
Premier CC 5 groups £175
Usual CC 6 groups £150
I'm doing a usual CC day on 8th July, haven't done a CC day since 2019, the short sessions did my head in a bit and so made the effort to go further afield.
I have already decided that for me the MPS day is defo worth the extra.
Big thanks to Phil for the info on my mate's exhaust.
