help 21 first big bike
hi im 21 on 18th august i have sp30 =5 points & 140 fine from august 2002 december 2002 i had a bike stolen wich cost the insurnce bout 1000., i have a full car licnce and a psv too . im taking my test on the 20th of august. should pass my das. i have bought a gpx 400r its a import and its a d reg i want to insure it chep as possible but need it 3party fire and feft can any one help? no no caims dissount on bike but almost 3 years on my car i dont know hjw may miles ill do but not many as i have a car too thanks dave (tiger)^-^

Hi Dave and welcome to the site.
I can't recommend a particular company as every one will give different quotes depending on your circumstances.
Look in the links section as there are some in there and get a copy of Motorcycle News as its full of ads for bike insurance, then spend a few hours ringing around.
I wouldn't bother with internet quotes as I find if you have points and a claim in the last 3 years some wont quote you on line and you have to call them anyway.
Might be best to wait until you're 21 and passed your test so you will get a more realistic quote.

Really you're going to have to phone up as many companies as you can. Its amazing the variation on prices you will get out there.
Try Carole Nash, Cofield, Bennetts, http://www.wickedquotes.co.uk and numerous others.
The more you ring, the more likely you are to find something cheaper.
