Alright all :D
Very tempted to go up to Brands hatch on raceday 6th August. Going to ride up 8) leave about 4.30ish from the exeter area and ride back the same day, its a bit hard core but balls, what a day out  went to the motogp at donnington and a few swb members rode there done it in a day pretty much around the same length of time to get there i reckon.
should be a good day out as i think its good value for money  paddock pass £20 cool or what!!

Would like to do it but dont want to be a billie no mates (no pun intended there simon  ) riding up alone, so was looking for a few of US to join in

So what you say...............

Sounds good, but what are you likely to spend in total, on everything?

And what's needed to bring?
And and, what's a paddock pass??

should cost about the same in fuel around £40 + ticket.
Paddock pass means you can get real close to the riders and bikes behind the garages etc

Bloodyhell, 420 miles!

Sounds good, if the roads are!

Why is the paddock pass the cheapest, when it sounds the best?

What!? Georgie, dude - if you're going up that way then at least make a decent ride of it!

We can't take the dual carrigeway all the way there, go up the coastal route!

Exeter > Honiton - (A35: awesome road!) - Dorchester - Bournemouth - Southampton - Brighton - then cut straight up past Sussux onto the M25!

It takes about 3 hours for a fast ride.

Or a better route - A303 to Winchester, cut across the A272 to Haywards Heath, then head up the A26 ....takes you almost there - you just have to do the last little bit on m'ways. Takes a bit longer but is much more fun.

A35 is a nice route but only for the first hour of the run - then you've got boring m'way for miles with a lot of scameras - I do that route once a month and hate it!
my mind not only wanders ... sometimes it leaves completely

Really?? Where abouts? The only ones I saw were in London, and one after Southampton!
