Meals -------- trip up on Friday.
Just a break cum pee stop, would suit me fine as I aim to have brunch before setting off and two meals in a day which includes the Neuadd, is all I need.
C'mon Roy, who ya kidding mate? .....you're too old for a cum stop
That made me laugh, wondered who would pick that up!!

Wellie leaving time posted above amended.
Me and 5 others to leave at 12.00 sharp and go straight to Chepstow. Phil and smaller number to leave at 12.10 and stop at Sedgemoor services (northbound obviously) to meet Wendy n' young Phil around 12.40.
Yes Brian, sounds good. I think a sandwich stop on Saturday would be fine with us

I ain't picking anything up that Roy has handled if he's going to do that sort of thing. Really unhygienic.

I'll volunteer to go in the second group as I'll be trying to make up time after working in the morning. You fast boys go ahead - the tortoises will catch you up later.....

It's not a tortoise and hare thing Andy. We don't want joe public to see more than 6 riding together in Engerland and both groups will be "medium" pace. Assuming Wales still allows we'll ride on together from Chepstow at Brian's "medium" pace.

Just checked again. M48 old Severn bridge will be closed eastbound all weekend and roadworks westbound at the Aust roundabout, so we're still okay to go that way into Dragonland tomorrow. Fingies crossed the roadworks don't hold us up too much.
And for those interested I've tweaked the Saturday route. Plug these coordinates in yer satnav if you must:-

Nick, look at the news for Welsh Covid advice and, as I recently posted, the hotel is up to speed. Only downer is gimp masks do not comply with the mask requirement and there is to be no screaming in ecstasy after 11.00p.m. You have your own 2 metre weapon to maintain distancing.
Alan will be joining the ride up at Sedgemoor services with young Phil n' Wendy. I've advised them that old Phil's second group should be with them about 12.40, probably a little earlier than that if he's pedalling the Trumpet at it's normal rate.
Finally, after consulting most of you, we will not be stopping for a sit down lunch Saturday. Sorry to disappoint the pasta addicts. Coffee/tea/sarnie/icecream/pee/leg stretch stop is planned for the Loch Cafe at lake Bala.

Currently the Covid measures in Wales are basically the same as England. If anyone wants to check:-
https://gov.wales/coronavirus-regulatio ... tion-46356
The areas we should avoid, and are likely to get pulled over if we do go there, are still as per the map I posted earlier. We will be okay on the routes I've planned.
See y'all tomorrow when the sun will be shining and the roads clear. Promise

Don’t think you’ll find we are getting to Chepstow until 2.00 John.
