Lol
It's not easy being a realist. Until recently I was hopeful that things might settle down as we get into summer but now I'm not even sure about next summer.

I voted for postpone rather than cancel, more in hope than expectation it's true to say. As events have revealed, this virus is proving more insidiously ongoing and long-lived than originally thought, and I fear the early doom-mongers who forecast little or no group gatherings for the remainder of 2020 may be on to something.

I sincerely hope they're wrong but it's not looking too positive for a 2020 return to normality at the moment.

Do we need to contact the Nued Arms ourselves to alter/postpone the bookings??

I've spoken to them and they're okay waiting for us to agree a likely later date. At the mo' when we can get together for the weekend remains a complete guess - shall I give them 11-13 September as a tentative date?

I've now got us pencilled in for 11-13 Sep with the Neuadd. Wendy, Phil & John are otherwise engaged 29/8-07/09 and I'm busy later in September, fingers crossed for Alan being free with the harvest. Obviously, depends on how the lockdown release in Wales proceeds. If we have to wait until October I'm still in but will cancel if we can't go before November.

Phil Robbo can't make the above date. I've put a poll up in the original wales thread for the 3 weekends I can do. Link below:-
