Home okay after my right front caliper problem. Soon got used to only using the back brake, surprising how efficient stopping is with just the back. Front was working after it cooled down but I wanted to prove a point. Dazzer must follow me on the next ride to see rear only braking

Glad you got home safe Bri lucky you didnt need to do an emergency stop though! for any reason.

Upping the hazard anticipation and riding accordingly minimised the risk. You can actually stop quite quickly with just the rear brake. I did have the back up of the front brake working again if I needed it. I assume 750+ miles riding in rain last week must have got enough crud in by the pistons of that caliper to cause it to drag and end up binding and overheating. I am a naughty boy for not having the calipers off for a good going over when I cleaned the bike. Will do a full rebuild and change the brake fluid now.
