Also the cost of stickers, now new membership cards (to be shown for discount at M/C shops) costs money
Maybe there are other ways, maybe donation of £1/£2 on a ride out, maybe we could get the track day a sponsored event, i don't really know, but any suggestions are really much appreciated.
Thanks
I'd be happy to pay £10,but i've been asking dave for new stickers for ages to replace the ones on my 6.......now i need some for the 1000 but as yet no stickers

Stickers as dave said are not really the issue with new members, but one thing you must remember, these things dont come cheap. The new ones are even more exspensive as they are plastic coated so the dont wear out so quick.
I am on the case now with the supplier

I'm voting for £15 a year.
How about an option for paying by seting up a standing order for £1 a month.
Peps wont notice it and Dave will have a good idea about whats coming in.

Thats a good idea, dont think anyone has thought of this. Sounds a silly Question but can you do a standing order to an individuals account ? suppose you must be able to.

As an alternative, what about sponsorship from local bike dealers, tyre fitters, parts & clothing outlets and putting up their links. I bet there would be a lot of interest as a lot of traffic now on this sight.
It's easier to collect one or two larger premiums like this than lots of tiddly £5/£10 subs each year which take a load of time/hassle to collect & some members simply won't/can't pay. It also makes those who do pay feel narked!
By the way I have'nt paid yet - feeling slightly guilty but not deliberate, no one's asked me and looking at the site I am not sure how to. Dave can grab me by my collar when we next meet and shake me upside down!
Is there a proper Bank account set up for SouthWestBikers.Com? If not let me know as could propably sort one out & some free banking etc.

As a leatherwear repair/alts specialist myself, think it's an excellent idea to pay a subscription to the SWB site.
A lot of you support my business, so it would be in my better interest to pay towards keeping a link in this forum.
When a descision has been reach on the poll let me know to whom I would need to send the funds to.

I don't mind paying a fiver to help Dave out, unfortunately it's such a long way for me to travel down for meets and i wouldn't get any of the discount benefits.
Having said that i like the site and occassionally get to meet up with people so i don't mind paying an extra couple of quid if i get to go on a rideout.

yeh good point. guppa p's or bridge stuff like that. im sure hey would be willing to spalsh a few quid to have themselves advertised on here. not as if this website in shambles. its a dencent website and alot of pioeple are on it. good plan.
i once suggested this thing down jaspers that trhey make a hall of fame. u paw x ammount of money, u get a polaroid taken and u can write a messeage on it. and it gets put up as a hall of fame doen there. i just liked that idea. not got much to do with this. lol
bout time i coughed up some dough for this membership stuff. lol. set the price and ill get it to dave. personaly £15 a year isnt much. i used to belong to another foruma nd copst £10 a month. so £15 sounds good to me. and to put it into perspective its about 3-4 jasperizers. so not alot for a year. but its enough to cover the cost.

Im very new to this, not long been on my bike, only joined the site on 3rd nov (great site by the way, great people) i think even up to £20 is resonable, as i love riding my bike, and would be even more fun going around with other bikers, and everything else that goes with it, where do is sign up dude?
