eeeeeenyway we digress, back to ticketyboos problem though, like lee said fuel could have gone off, might be worth draining float bowls of old fuel (should be a screw at the bottom of the float bowl), clean up the plugs and maybe even give it a sniff of eze-start. once you get it going the once, it should be easier to start again after that.
Does the dragstar have a vacuum pet-cock? if so might be worth putting it to th "pri" position to bypass this
also its worth remembering that if you are turning the engine over for ages and its not starting you will foul the plugs in the end ie get em wet with petrol and they wont spark, making it even harder to start
