But the van struggles to hit 40 :D
sat around doing naff all !! typical, just what do we pay them to do???
shouldnt they be out patrolling the streets ?? instead of being sat around listening to the radio and doing sudoku waiting for motorists who are over the speed limit?

exactly, and it would be naff all, as no-one speeds around here, as they are all old biddys or do gooders.
And they know my bike is out of action as last time they pulled me was 3 days before I broke it

(I have Saltash Police watching me, apppppppppppparently) :D

Apart from maybe someone with a red helmet on a blue bike, or quite possibly someone with window wipers on, and it wasnt raining, terrible.

About 2 weeks ago the dorset police told shop keepers to not fone up the police if sombody is stealing anything under £75 because they have more important jobs to do! So what are the shop keepers sopposed to do? About a week after that about 7 police men were manning ONE speed camera and a friendly old truck driver saw them, beeped his horn and stuck his thumb up in a friendly jester. A few seconds later the police stoped him and fined him £30 for using his horn when he didn't need to! I feel like going onto the roadside and chucking a few eggs at their cars now

Had a simular reaction when i had my car broken into a few weeks ago. Rang the police up, they gave me a crime ref number, and that was it, i asked if they were gonna do owt else and the women on the phone giggled!! Absoloute pish.
Guarantee that if i had caught the little c'nts while they were doing it and i administered my cheggers brand of justice (a good kicking) they would have had 20 cop cars and a few riot vans there in minutes to nick me.
Most of the time i respect the police and i realise they have a tough job to do, but they really don't help themselves sometimes, End of rant!

Cheggars spot on, I was in a bit of a sticky position, and I got a bike stolen, rang the Police, as thats what they are there for right?

I told him mateys address, telephone number, and name and yet they still wouldnt do anything, I couldnt believe it, I mean I had done the hard work.
In the end I got it back through some other method, ever since then I have been major anti police.

i did consider that - i nearly had

"stick it on my tab pig!"

on my number plate - but it takes away ANY chance of getting away with it and there is usually some chance of just a warning or minimum fine.

if they saw that you'd get the book chucked at ya!!! :P be very funny to see their face though...
